Big Pine Equestrian Group Overview

Big Pine Equestrian Group offers 1 group-equestrian site in the San Bernardino National Forest. It is in a hilly area with mature evergreens. Wide open meadows exist throughout the area too. The site can have up to 25 guests and 5 vehicles. The max length of a vehicle is 30ft. However, the max length of a trailer is 23ft. Big Pine Equestrian Group allows for RV, trailer, as well as tent camping. The trees provide plenty of shade but there are some sunny spots as well. Also, there is fair cell phone coverage. In addition, there is not a lot of water available at this campground. Be sure to fill up trailers and RVs beforehand. Also, high clearance vehicles are best to navigate the dirt road that leads to the campground. This campground is pet friendly as well. Big Pine Equestrian Group is open from mid April until early October.

Amenities at this campground and campsite include picnic tables, grills, as well as a campfire circle. Also, there are vault toilets and drinking water. For horses, there are corrals, hitching posts, watering stations, and a horse staging area. A close by RV dump stations is the Serrano Campground RV Dump Station (10mi southeast).

Big Bear Lake is nearby as well. This provides a great opportunity for fishing and boating. Trout, bluegill, crappie, catfish, largemouth bass, and other species dwell in the lake. The towns of Fawnskin and Big Bear also have plenty of markets and restaurants to enjoy.
