Big Trees Campground Inyo National Forest California
Big Trees Overview

Big Trees Campground is located among a forest of tall Jeffrey Pines and along the banks of Bishop Creek. The campground has 16 campsites (some walk-in tent only) and all are first-come first-serve. The campground is generally open mid-May to mid-October.
Our favorite Big Trees campsites are 5, 6, 10, 13, 14 and 16.
Amenities include drinking water, vault and flush toilets. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring, grate and food storage locker.
Big Trees – Area Recreation
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, backpacking, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Four Jeffrey, Forks, Bishop Park, Bitterbrush and Sabrina.
