Cascade Creek Overview

Cascade Creek Campground has 14 rustic campsites and is in a forested area just off Highway 108, about 11 miles from the Summit Ranger Station.  The small creek also flows near the campground.

All sites are first-come first-served. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Most have decent shade from large trees. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. The parking spurs range in length from about 18 to 24 feet.

The seasonal campground is generally open early June to mid October. Amenities vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available.

Cascade Creek Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes OHV trail riding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Boulder Flat and Brightman Flat, both off CA-108. Pinecrest Campground is also really nice and is about 10 miles west on Highway 108.
