Grizzly Creek (CA) Overview

Grizzly Creek Campground has 11 campsites and is set in a forested area about 2.5 miles from Bucks Lake Marina in the northern Sierra Mountains.

The campground is generally open mid May to late September. Amenities include vault toilets and (bear proof) trash dumpsters. Drinking water is not available and you won’t get a cell signal either.

Campsites can accommodate up to 6 people and 1 vehicle (up to 25 feet). The sites are best suited for tent camping. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Grizzly Creek Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Bucks Lake is a short drive away and provides fishing, boating, and canoeing. Hiking trails which provide access to the Bucks Lake Wilderness and the Pacific Crest Trail are also a short drive away.

Other campgrounds in the area include Hutchins, Mill Creek, Lower Bucks and Whitehorse.
