Honeymoon Flat Overview

Honeymoon Flat campground has 28 campsites and is located 8 miles from Bridgeport, next to Robinson Creek at an elevation of 7,000 feet.

The campground has a lower (south) loop (sites 1-13) and an upper (north) loop (sites 14-28).  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur table, BBQ pedestal and a food storage locker. Parking spurs range on length from 15 feet to 45 feet. Hookups are not available.

The seasonal campground is usually open mid May to mid September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available.

Honeymoon Flat – Area Recreation

Robinson Creek offers some excellent fishing and Lower & Upper Twin Lakes (up the road) are also popular for fishing, boating, canoeing and kayaking. Other outdoor activities include hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Paha, Crags, Lower Twin Lakes and Robinson Creek North and Robinson Creek South.
