Lower Twin Lakes Overview

Lower Twin Lakes Campground has 14 campsites and is located just below the lake and along Robinson Creek at an elevation of 7,000 feet.

The seasonal campground is generally open mid May to early October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets and trash collection (dumpsters). Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. There’s also a boat ramp next to the campground that provides access to Lower Twin Lakes. Cell service is not available in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Three of the sies are walk-to (tent only). Each campsite has a parking spur, table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate.

The campground offers a great base camp to fish for rainbow trout in Robinson Creek.

Lower Twin Lakes Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area also includes boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing.

The town of Bridgeport is just 10 miles down the road if you need supplies. Also, Robinson Creek Campground is nearby, where educational programs are held at its amphitheater on weekends from July 4 through Labor Day.

Other campgrounds in the area include Paha, Robinson Creek South, Robinson Creek North, Crags, and Honeymoon Flat.
