Blue Spring State Park campground has 51 single-family campsites (with water & electric hookups) for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Six cabins are also available for rent. Each site has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a gift shop/camp store, kayak rentals, picnic areas, boat ramp, playground and hiking trails.

Blue Spring State Park – Area Recreation

The Park covers more than 2,600 acres, including the largest spring on the St. Johns River. Blue Spring is a manatee refuge and winter home to West Indian Manatees. Outdoor recreational activities include swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving in the crystal clear 72 degree spring water.   There’s also some great fishing, canoeing, tubing and kayaking on St. Johns River.  Rentals are also available at the park. There’s also a variety of wildlife to see including wading birds, ospreys, eagles, black bears, tortoises, and of course the manatee.
