Peace Valley Overview

Peace Valley Group Campground in a forested area about 27 miles north of Garden Valley, ID at an elevation of 4,591. It also is close to an experimental forest and a fire lookout. Peach Creek and Silver Creek area also nearby and offer excellent fishing most of the year.

The group site has 5 campsites and can accommodate up to 50 people. Tent and small trailers/RVs are okay.

This is a ‘pack it in, pack it out’ facility and campers must remove all trash upon departure.  Water and vault toilets are provided. Cell service is not available.

The campsites have  fire rings, picnic tables, grills and a vault toilet.  One site contains a small picnic shelter.

Other campgrounds in the area include Silver Creek, Pine Flats, French Creek and Bull Trout.

Peace Valley Group Site – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, hunting, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.

Peace Creek Trail and Bitter Creek Trail (both motorcycle trails) begin nearby. The Rattlesnake Trail and 465 ATV Trail are in the vicinity of the campground.

Silver Creek Plunge, a privately developed hot springs resort, is 2.5 miles away with a hot springs pool, general store, concessions, volleyball and basketball courts, playground and horseshoe pits.
