Silver Creek (ID) Overview

Silver Creek Campground has 57 campsites and is located next to Silver Creek  in a mixed-growth lodgepole pine forest at an elevation of 4,900 feet.  There are 27 waterfront campsites (right along the creek). The Lodgepole Springs group site is about a 1/2 mile away and can accommodate up to 100 people.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur (up 50 feet), table, fire ring and grill. The campground is generally open mid May through October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available.

Other campgrounds in the area include Peace Valley, Rattlesnake, River Side, Barneys, Howers and Cozy Cove.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, hunting, mountain biking, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
