Pine Flats (ID) Campground Boise National Forest Idaho

Pine Flats (ID) Overview

Pine Flats Campground has 26 single-family campsites and is located in a scenic mountain area next to the South Fork Payette River.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a parking spur (ranging in size from 17 to 90 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available.

Pine Flats Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation includes rafting, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Some historic and cultural sites are also in the area. Numerous natural hot springs pools can also be found along the Banks-Lowman Highway (AKA – the Wildlife Canyon Scenic Byway).

Other campgrounds in the area include Bonneville, Silver Creek, Mountain View, Park Creek and Kirkham. Peace Valley Group Site is also nearby.
