Kading Campground (Montana)

Little Blackfoot River Road
Helena, Montana 59728
406 449-5490
46.42888889, -112.4813889

Kading Camp is adjacent to Little Blackfoot River and has 11 large campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. A small public corral is also available and located across the road from the campground (so bring your horse). Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate. Most campsites have few trees around them, but you will have great views of the forest and mountains that surround the campground. The campground has vault toilets. Water is not available at the campground, but you can get it at Kading Cabin.

Our favorite Kading campsites are 2, 3, 5, 6 and 10.

Outdoor recreation activities includes hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hunting, OHV riding, horseback riding, picnicking, winter/snow sports and wildlife viewing.

Other Helena area campgrounds you may want to check out include: Cromwell Dixon Campground, Moose Creek and Vigilante Campground.
