Fremont Lake Campground Bridger-Teton National Forest Wyoming

Fremont Lake Overview

Fremont Lake Campground Group Site 001

Fremont Lake Campground has 51 campsites and is located on the east shore of pristine Fremont Lake at the foot of the rugged Wind River Range.  The campground is in a forested hillside and most sites do not have lake views. There are 44 single-family campsites (up to 8 people), 4 double-family sites (up to 16 people), and 1 group site (up to 50 people). Trees provide decent shade and privacy between sites.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a gravel parking spur, table(s), fire ring and grill.  The campground is generally open early may through September. Sites can be reserved up until September 9 and are first-come, first-served September 9-30.  Amenities include water, vault toilets and trash collection. There is also a boat ramp, boat dock and boat trailer lot next to the campground. The town of Pinedale is just a few miles away if you need supplies, but you can purchase firewood from the camp host.
