Half Moon Lake Campground is located on the northeast shore of the lake and has 17 spacious campsites set among Aspen and willow trees.

The primitive campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. There is also a boat launch ramp about 1/2 mile from the campground. Cell service is poor in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Fremont Lake, Trails End, Willow Lake, Boulder Lake and New Fork Lake.
