Willow Lake (WY) Overview
Willow Lake Campground has 6 campsites and is perched along the scenic south shore of Willow Lake just northeast of Pinedale. The campground also has great views of the lake and Wind River Range.
This is small, rustic campground offers a peaceful base for fishing, boating, and exploring the Wind River Range. The campsites are tucked into open forest and sagebrush hillsides, many with sweeping views of the lake and surrounding mountains.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a gravel parking spur (up to 25 feet in length), table, fire ring and grill.
The campground is generally open early June through September. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is fair. A boat ramp (and trailer parking) is also next to the campground.
Other campgrounds in the area include Soda Lake, Fremont Lake and Half Moon Lake. You might also like The Narrows Campground or New Fork Group Campground.
Willow Lake – Area Recreation and Activities
Located only about 15 minutes from Pinedale, Willow Lake Campground feels remote while still offering convenient access to town services and supplies. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
