Whiskey Grove Overview
Whiskey Grove Campground offers 9 primitive campsites in a forested area along the Green River in the Upper Green River Valley. All campsites are first-come, first-served. Access to this campground is via a dirt road approximately 4 miles from the end of the pavement.
The campground is generally open mid June to mid September. Conifer trees provide shade to most sites. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Amenities include potable (drinking) water from a hand pump, vault toilets and trash collection. Cell service is not available in the area.
Whiskey Grove Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, fly fishing, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, hunting, backpacking, OHV trail riding, stargazing, photography and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in.
Other campgrounds in the area include New Fork Lake, Narrows, Willow Lake, Trails End and Fremont Lake.
