Intake 2 Overview
Intake 2 Campground has 16 campsites and is located next to the Middle Fork of Bishop Creek just above Intake Two lake. It’s a dandy spot to do some fishing and hiking. All campsites are first-come, first-serve.
Upper Intake 2 has 11 campsites suitable for small vehicles near the creek. Lower Intake 2 also has 5 walk-to campsites located on the west shore of the lake. Campsites do not have hookups.
The campground is generally open late April to late October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilet and trash collection. There is also a day-use / picnic area next to the lake. Each campsite has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grill. Cell service is not available.
Intake 2 Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include: Bishop Park Group, North Lake, Bishop Park, Sabrina, Four Jeffrey, Forks and Big Trees.

Do you guys have hook ups for trailer rvs? Electric, sewer and water?

The campsites at Intake 2 campground do not have any hookups.
How much does it cost for a night?
Not positive, but I think it is around $10 to $15 per night to camp at Intake 2 campground.
I have the america the beautiful access pass which superpasses the other passes, but I don’t know how to encode it into my permit to tent camp overnight

I’m not sure how to do that either since Intake 2 Campground is first-come, first-served. Rec.gov provides the ability to do so – for reservable campgrounds. Maybe someone has an answer and can comment.
Is there availability now or are all the campsites at Intake 2 taken for the weekend? If there is availability how do we book a campsite?

Intake 2 Campground (campsites) are all first-come, first-served (no advanced reservations). Unfortunately we do not have any one on site so I can’t confirm availability. labor Day weekend will probably be busy (all sites take by Friday evening). Other weekends should have availability in September. If you’re going to try for Labor Day weekend, I would recommend arriving before noon on Friday. If a campsite is open you can take it (pay at Iron Ranger – near entrance to campground).
