Iris Meadow Overview

Iris Meadow campground has 14 campsites in a small meadow along Rock Creek. Aspen and Willow trees are also around the campground and meadow. The campground is first-come first served.  Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 26 feet). Each campsite also has a table, food locker, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water and flush toilets.

Iris Meadow – Area Recreation

The campground is quite popular and has great views of the meadow and surrounding peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Outdoor recreation includes fishing in Rock Creek, backpacking, hiking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Pine Grove, Upper Pine Grove, Big Meadow, Palisade, East Fork and Rock Creek Lake. Rock Creek Lakes Resort is also nearby.
