Little Lasier Meadows Overview

Little Lasier Meadows Campground has 11 equestrian campsites in a grassy meadow surrounded by lodgepole pine and fir trees. Scenic Jackson Meadow Reservoir is also a few miles away and the town of Truckee is 32 miles to the north.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 40 feet). Each site has hitching racks, a table, fire ring and grill. A shared horse corral is also on-site.  The campground is generally open mid July to mid October. Amenities include water, vault toilets, a manure bin and trash collection.

Little Lasier Meadows Campground – Area Recreation and Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.  The Pacific Crest Trail also passes just half a mile away from the campground.

Jackson Meadow Reservoir offers excellent opportunities for boating, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, swimming and fishing. Anglers will find rainbow and brown trout. A boat ramp is located at Pass Creek Campground. A designated swim beach is nearby.

Other campgrounds in the area include Pass Creek, Fir Top, Woodcamp, Wild Plum, Silvertip Group, Findley and East Meadow (all next to Jackson Meadows Reservoir).
