Los Robles Equestrian Overview

Lake San Antonio Los Robles Equestrain Campground Stalls

Los Robles Equestrian Campground has 5 large campsites set in a meadow near the North Shore of Lake San Antonio.

The primitive campsites (and the surrounding area), have plenty of room for large rigs and trailers. Each site also has a water spigot, table, fire ring and grill. Some sites have decent shade from trees. Amenities include corrals/stalls, a riding ring, manure bin, water trough, horse wash and vault toilets. Cell service is fair in the area.

The North Shore also has a dump station, two boat ramps, and picnic/day use areas. Cell service is fair on the North Shore.

Los Robles Equestrian Campground / Lake San Antonio – Outdoor Recreation & Activities

The equestrian campground has direct access to ‘The Long Trail’ – an 11-mile, non-hiking equestrian trail near an active cattle ranch. A permit is required to ride on the trail.

Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, water sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also good in the area with opportunities to see deer, turkey, peacocks and a variety of birds.

Lake San Antonio Recreation Area features the 350,000 acre lake that has about 60 miles of shoreline. There are about 500 campsites in campground located on the south and north shore of the lake. The facility and campgrounds are operated by Monterey County Parks and is about 22 miles north of Paso Robles and 7 miles from Lake Nacimiento.

North Shore Campground is also nearby.  Other campgrounds on the South Shore include Harris Creek, Lynch and Redonda Vista.
