North Overlook Overview

North Overlook Campground has 49 spacious campsites (43 with electric hookups) in a forested area next to Lake Red Rock. The campground is across the camp road from the water and he nearest campsite is about 600 feet from the lake.

The 49 campsites are situated among a hardwood forest and are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. There are 43 sites with electric hookups and each site also a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. The other 6 sites are for primitive (tent only) camping.

The seasonal campground is usually open mid April to early October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush, showers, playground, trash collection (dumpsters) and an RV dump station. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good in the area.

North Overlook Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Elk Rock State Park, Roberts Creek Park, Wallashuck, Howell Station and Ivans.
