Parkside Overview

Parkside Campground 020

Parkside Campground has 26 single-family campsites and is located right next to Rock Creek in the Custer Gallatin National Forest.  A beautiful forest of aspen and pine covers the area.  Greenough Lake is also nearby. Two group sites are also available.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a parking spur, table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate.

The seasonal campground is usually open early June to late September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available at the campground.

Parkside Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

The area is a popular location for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, ATVing and scenic driving. Glacier Lake, Hellroaring and Lake Fork trailheads are nearby.  Wildlife viewing is also fantastic in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Basin, Cascade, Parkside, Rattin, Sheridan, Greenough Lake and Limber Pine.
