Contorta Point Group Camp Crescent Lake Scenic

Contorta Point Group Campground has 2 really nice group sites (A and B) set in a forested area on the southwest shore of Crescent Lake in central Oregon.  Both sites are within walking distance of the lakeshore.

The campground is generally open mid May to late September. The two group sites can accommodate up to 40 people and 12 vehicles each (maximum 40 feet).

Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection (dumpsters).  Potable (drinking) water is not available.  Each site also has tables, barbecues, fire rings and trash dumpsters. Cell service is poor in the area.

Contorta Point Group Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water skiing, sailing, windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Crescent Lake, Spring, Contorta Flat and Windy Group Camp. Whitefish Horse Camp is also a nice equestrian campground.
