Spring Campground Deschutes National Forest Oregon

Spring Overview

Spring Campground 056

Spring Campground has 73 large campsites in a forested area on the southwest shore of spectacular Crescent Lake in central Oregon.

The campground is generally open mid May to mid October. The large/flat campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Some are double-family sites and there are several tent-only sites on the waterfront. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.

Some campsites at Spring Campground can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The campground is rarely full, offering a bit more solitude than neighboring campgrounds.

Larger groups may reserve a block of 12 campsites. These sites are somewhat isolated from the others and can fit up to about 70 campers and 25 vehicles.

Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets, a day use / picnic area and trash collection.  There is also a boat ramp and boat trailer lot. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host and cell service is poor in the area.
