Williams Bottom Campground has 17 campsites near the Colorado River and Kane Creek confluence about 9.6 miles northwest of Moab, UT. The campground is surrounded by beautiful red rock canyon walls and is generally open April through October.

All of the 17 first-come, first-serve campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 30 feet). Trees provide some shade to most campsites. Each site also has a gravel parking area, table, fire ring and grill.  Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available. A camp host is on site during the spring and fall.

Other campgrounds in the area include Jaycee Park, Gold Bar Group and Kings Bottom.

Williams Bottom Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, picnicking, stargazing, mountain biking, OHV trail riding and wildlife viewing.

The Wall Street climbing area provides climbing routes ranging in difficulty on the vertical walls of Navajo Sandstone. Petroglyphs carved into the sandstone and ancient dinosaur tracks can be viewed from pullouts along the road. The popular Poison Spider Mesa Trailhead provides access for four-wheel driving and mountain biking.
