Kings Bottom Campground Utah
Kings Bottom Overview
Kings Bottom Campground has 23 (first-come, first-serve) campsites on the banks of the Colorado River and nestled between massive red rock canyon walls. The popular campground is just outside of Moab and near the Moab Rim Safari Route. Other popular mountain biking, hiking and 4WD/UTV roads are also in the area.
Campsites can accommodate tents and small RVs only (no trailers). There are 9 sites with an individual parking spur and 14 walk-to (tent only) sites. Campsite #1 is a group site. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground is open year round. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is good in the area.
Kings Bottom Campground – Area Recreation & Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes rock climbing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, picnicking, stargazing, mountain biking, OHV trail riding and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the area include Jaycee Park, Williams Bottom, Gold Bar Recreation Site and Gold Bar Group.
