Haskins Valley Overview

Haskins Valley Campground has 65 single-family campsites set among beautiful pines in a cove at the south end of Bucks Lake.  This PG&E campground is well-maintained and takes reservations from early June to early October. Sites 10 and 14-29 are first-come, first-served sites.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs, but most sites are best for tent camping.  Hookups are not available. Each site has a paved parking spur, table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets, trash collection and a dump station (with potable water fill).  There’s also a boat ramp, boat trailer lot and firewood available to purchase from the friendly camp host. Bucks Lake Marina is nearby and Bucks Lake Resort has a restaurant.  Cell service is not available in the area.

Haskins Valley Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other Bucks Lake campgrounds include Hutchins Group, Sundew, Lower Bucks Lake and Mill Creek. Whitehorse Campground is also in the area.
