Lower Bucks Lake Campground Plumas National Forest California
Lower Bucks Lake Overview
Lower Bucks Lake is a beautiful (rustic) campground set in a forested area right along the lake. There are 7 spacious and well-spaced campsites that have great views of the water. All sites are first-come, first-served. Campsites 5 and 7 have easy access to the lake.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a gravel parking spur, table, food storage locker (bear box), fire ring and grill.
The seasonal campground is generally open mid May to mid October. Campground amenities include a vault toilet and trash cans down by the day use area. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available. Although there is not a boat ramp, you can launch kayaks from the day use area beach. Supplies and boat rentals are available at nearby resorts.
