Bridger Lake Overview

Bridger Lake Campground is on the north slope of the Uinta Mountains (near the UT/WY border) and has 31 campsites next to the lake. Some sites have partial lake views. A thin forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and aspen covers the area. Shade is minimal. Summer wildflowers and grasses dot the campground.

The high-elevation campground (9,400 feet) is generally open mid June to early September. Amenities include potable drinking water, vault toilets and trash collection.  A small boat ramp is also next to the campground. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is not available. A dump station is about 1/2 mile away, across the road from Stateline Campground.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur (ranging in size from 30 to 55 feet), table, fire ring and grill.

Area Recreation & Activities

Bridger Lakes offers excellent fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout. Other activities include boating (small watercraft), kayaking, OHV trail riding, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Stateline, Marsh Lake and China Meadows. You might also like Meeks Cabin campground or Little Lyman Lake campground.
