Little Lyman Lake Overview
Little Lyman Lake Campground has 10 primitive campsites in a forested area next to 5-acre “Little Lyman” Lake and about 1/4 mile from ‘Lyman Lake’ in the Uinta mountains. All sites are first-come, first-serve. The nearest town is Mountain View (WY), about 35 miles north.
The high-elevation campground (9,276) is generally open mid May to early September. Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. The nearest dump station is across the road from Stateline Campground (about 20 miles away).
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 42 feet. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Sites 1-4 have nice views of the lake.
Area Recreation and Activities
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, ATV trail riding, hunting, stargazing, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
Other campgrounds in the general area include Marsh Lake, China Meadows, Bridger Lake, Meeks Cabin Campground and Stateline.
