Stateline Campground Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Utah

Stateline Overview

Stateline Campground has 39 campsites and is located next to the Stateline Reservoir on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains. It’s also about 21 miles from Mountain View, WY. Some of the campsites have partial views of the lake.

The remote campground is generally open late May to early September (reservations accepted starting mid June).  Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Firewood can also be purchased from the friendly camp host. Cell service is not available.  A dump station is located across the road from the campground.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur (ranging in size from 20 to 40 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Camp roads are also paved.

Stateline Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, boating, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Stargazing is also great in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Bridger Lake, Marsh Lake and China Meadows. You might also like Little Lyman Lake or Meeks Cabin campgrounds.
