Marsh Lake Overview

Marsh Lake Campground has a total of 46 sites in two loops (East Marsh Lake and West Marsh Lake) with some having nice lake views. A few have direct access to the lake. A thin forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and aspen also covers the area, providing limited shade.

The remote campground is generally open late May to early September.  Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets, trash collection and a boat ramp.  Cell service is not available.  A dump station is located across the road from Stateline Campground. The closest town (about 25 miles) is Mountain View (WY) if you need supplies.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur (ranging in size from 28 to 72 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Double-family campsites area available. You can also purchase firewood from the friendly camp host.

Marsh Lake Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes kayaking, canoeing, boating (small watercraft), hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Stargazing is also great in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Bridger Lake, China Meadows and Stateline. You might also like Meeks Cabin campground or Little Lyman Lake campground.
