China Meadows Overview

China Meadows Campground has 9 campsites and is located next to China Lake on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains.  Campsites 1-4 are along the shore.

The remote campground is generally open mid June to early September.  Amenities include vault toilets and trash collection.  Cell service is not available.  A dump station is located across the road from Stateline Campground. The closest town (about 26 miles) is Mountain View (WY) if you need supplies.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a gravel parking spur, table, fire ring and grill. Sites #5 and #9 are double-family campsites.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, OHV trail riding, fishing, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Stargazing is also great in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Bridger Lake, Marsh Lake and Stateline. You might also like Meeks Cabin campground or Little Lyman Lake campground.
