Lodgepole At Flaming Gorge Overview

Lodgepole At Flaming Gorge Campground has 35 spacious campsites (22 reservable) in an Aspen forest near Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

The campground is generally open mid May to mid September. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. Dump stations are located at Antelope Flat, Deer Run, and Firefighters campgrounds. A fee is charged. Cedar Springs Marina is less than 10 miles from the campground. Cell service is fair in the area.  Firewood is also available to purchase from the camp host.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Hookups are not available. Each site has a paved parking spur (ranging in length from 35 to 65 feet), table, fire ring and grill.

Lodgepole At Flaming Gorge – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, mountain biking, hiking, picnicking, stargazing and wildlife viewing.

Many campers make the short trip to beautiful Flaming Gorge Recreation Area for its world-class fishing for lake, brown and rainbow trout. Boating, water skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and scuba diving are popular activities on the reservoir.

Cedar Springs Marina is less than 10 miles from the campground.

Other campgrounds in the area include Red Springs, Skull Creek, Firefighters Memorial and Cedar Springs.
