Deer Run Overview

Deer Run Campground 013

Deer Run Campground is less than a 1/2 mile from the Cedar Spring Marina/Flaming Gorge Reservoir, and has 18 campsites. Shade is limited and the reservoir is not visible from the campground.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Juniper, pinyon pine and sagebrush in between the sites offer good privacy. Each site also has a paved parking spur (ranging in size from 34 to 45 feet), table, fire ring and grill.  Hookups are not available.

The campground is generally open mid May to early October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection (dumpsters) and an RV dump station. Cell service is fair in the area. The marina also has a small store, bar/grill, boat ramp, boat trailer lot, boat slips, boat/kayak rentals and fishing cleaning station.

Other campgrounds in the area include Cedar Springs, Mustang Ridge, Firefighters Memorial and Arch Dam Group.
